In the Pechersk district of Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained a 31-year-old man and his 37-year-old accomplice, who recruited young girls for prostitution. Intimate services were provided in inexpensive hotels, where pimps rented rooms in advance.

The men tried to select girls with a difficult financial situation so that they would quickly agree to the proposed working conditions and not demand more. An hour of sex adventures cost between 1-2.5 thousand hryvnia, depending on the girl's appearance and the presence of special wishes from the customer - the more non-standard services were required, the more expensive the prostitute's time was. Half of this money was given to the pimps, transferred to a bank card as payment for mediation and protection, and the rest was divided between themselves. At the same time, the pimps distributed business cards with offers of erotic entertainment and published ads in Kyiv information publications, newspapers with ads and on Internet resources. The men also paid local taxi drivers extra for information support, distribution of business cards and advertising of intimate services. During the search, a large sum of money in American currency was found on the suspects, as well as 200 grams of a narcotic substance resembling cannabis, for which they face up to 7 years in prison.
